At Villafranca the Arga river flows into the Aragon river, and as the saying goes: along with the Ega river “hacen el Ebro varón” (they make the Ebro a male). At their river groves one can see poplars, ash trees and weeping willows as well as watch and listen to different birds such as herons, bluebirds, cormorants...

There is a hiking trail which is about 8 km long, as indicated on the map. . Bike trail at Villafranca and canoe descent.

The trail goes upriver and leads us to the Arga’s mouth among poplar groves, until we reach a high path where we come back to the village, leaving the Aragon riverbanks.
